EVP, Engineering & Operations
James R. Doss is the Executive Vice President of Engineering & Operations at Navitas Midstream Partners and is responsible for engineering design, construction, and operation of gas gathering, treating and processing projects and assets and has over thirty-eight years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Navitas Midstream last June, Mr. Doss served as General Manager for Oasis Midstream Services and was responsible for engineering, construction and operation of assets including over 800 miles of oil, gas, and produced water gathering pipelines, three gas processing plants, crude tank facilities and salt water disposal facilities. He served as Director of Operations for Kinder Morgan, and as Vice President of Operations for its predecessor Copano Energy, from 2005 to 2014. In that role, Mr. Doss was responsible for the operation of the South Texas Division which included a 1.0 Bcf/d gas plant, 45,000 bbl/d fractionator, 23 Bcf underground gas storage facility, over 6,500 miles of lean gas pipelines, rich gas gathering, condensate pipelines, and 2.4 MMbbls of tank farm storage.
Mr. Doss also served in various engineering roles at Buckeye Gulf Coast Pipe Lines, Coastal States Crude Gathering Company, Service and Technology Corporation, and Phillips Pipe Line Company before joining Copano Energy.
Mr. Doss has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.
